Samsung is planning a strategic move that could reshape the AI landscape in the mobile market: According to a recent Bloomberg report, the South Korean tech giant is close to signing a large-scale agreement with the American startup Perplexity AI, under which it will integrate the company’s advanced search technology into its future devices. This collaboration may lead to deep integration of AI solutions not only in Samsung’s apps and browser but also in its voice assistant Bixby, and may even establish Perplexity as the company’s main digital assistant – a move expected to result in the replacement of Google’s AI model, Gemini, and a reduction in reliance on the company.
